RTMC Accounce Ride - January 2010

Route
Start: Bangalore, ISKON temple - Yeshwanthpur 0600 hrs
Via Point 1: Old bridge on Magadi Main Road (38kms)
Via Point 2: Right turn towards Kunigal at Magadi
Via Point 3: Hotel Mayura (breakfast point) just outside of Yediur 0730 hrs
Via Point 4: Left turn to SH-19 at Nalligere
Via Point 5: Nagamangala Temple
Via Point 6: Hulidurga fort (No, we will not do climbing or rappelling, but apparently it is a good place to do that)
Via Point 7: Maddur (and onto the Bangalore - Mysore dual carriage way)
Via Point 8: Kamath’s (depending to the size of the group it will be the big one or the small one)
Good bye point: 1 km before NICE road intersection (i.e. between Bidadi and the NICE road)

My guesstimate is that we will cover approximately 200 kms. so please be prepared for either 150 kms at the least or for 250 kms at the most. Please tank up before you come. People with tank leaks may arrive with some extra M-Seal, spare tubes etc etc ;)

AS WITH ALL RIDES:

- Carry All Required Documents - Vehicle RC, Insurance and License (Emission for those who require the same)
- Make Sure your bike is ready for the ride, do the mandatory checks before any usual rides.
- Full Faced Helmets are a Must for you and your Pillion. Those not wearing, CANNOT RIDE WITH RTMC.
- Carry the few basic and required spares.
- Adequate Riding Accessories - Jackets, Gloves, Shoes, Knee Pads etc are advisable.
- Travel Light - The weather is unpredictable.
- Bungee Cords to fasten whatever that needs to be fastened
- A Camera if you are a shutter bug.
- Enough money to cover your trip and other requirements
- Recommended ARC Insurance Coverage
